The Allies and Axis Powers
In WW2, there were two sides to the war. The Allies, which consisted of the Soviet Union, The United States, United Kingdom, China, France, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, The Netherlands, and Belgium, as well as other supporting countries to the cause. The Axis powers of Germany, Japan, and Italy, as well as other countries, were dedicated to creating a new world order under the influence of Adolf Hitler (pictured left), who blamed the Jews for the economical crisis in Germany at the time (see Holocaust) which resulted in the death of over 11-17 million people.
